THIS SUNDAY, JUNE 26 stay following worship for a Town Hall Meeting to distill some specific whats and hows from the information we've gathered in our recent conversations about Springdale's Why.
We'll feed you (let us know if you need specific dietary accommodations) and we'll spend the afternoon figuring out what things "have legs" (lots of energy) and ways we can adapt and adjust things we already do to be more invitational and to build community.
We need you! Children and youth of all ages are welcome to participate with their families. If you desire childcare for younger children, please contact MB at church!

SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE continues in our normal pattern:
1st Sunday of the month: FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST from 9:00 - 10:45 AM for ALL AGES prior to ONE COMBINED WORSHIP SERVICE at 11 AM with communion served in the pews
On the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sundays:
9 a.m. worship service with communion by intinction 
10 a.m. Spiritual Nurture classes
11 a.m. worship service 

SPIRITUAL NURTURE – Sundays from 10 – 10:50 a.m. 
ADULTS meet in Klein Chapel (unless otherwise noted).

CHILD CARE is provided for children age 3 and under 
during worship services and during Spiritual Nurture time. 
    
PRESBYTERIAN YOUTH CONNECTION (grades 6-12) meets during the school year after the 11:00 worship service (approximately 12:15-2:00 PM).

PRAYER PARTNERS FOR PYC - Our PYC will travel to Jamaica this July and we want them to have Prayer Partners - folks who are willing to pray for a youth during their trip and send them a note of encouragement. Sign up by June 10.
            
MEN’S BREAKFAST will meet at 8 AM Saturday, June 4, in fellowship hall. All men are encouraged to attend.
 
MEN’S SOFTBALL - Come cheer on the Springdale Sluggers at 7:30 PM Monday, June 6, at Watkins UMC, 9800 Westport Road, and also enjoy the fellowship.
 
BRIDGE GROUP will meet at 6:30 PM Friday, June 10, in fellowship hall. For more information contact

PW EVENING CIRCLE will meet at 5:30 PM Monday, June 13, at the home of Pam Brashear. Bring a sandwich and Bible. All women are welcome.

ACTIVE IN THE WORLD

FOOD PANTRY DONATIONS - All items donated to the grocery cart will be given to the Portland Avenue Presbyterian Church’s food pantry. There is a need for: canned meats/fruit/vegetables, peanut butter, tuna, cereal, rice, or macaroni and cheese; and personal items such as shampoo, toothpaste, 
dish soap, deodorant, laundry soap, etc. Especially needed are linens and towels.
  
PANCAKE BREAKFAST to support the Guatemala team will be from 9 – 10:45 AM Sunday, June 5. Cost: $4 adult; $2 children.
 
KROGER REWARDS - If you shop at Kroger be sure your Shopper’s Plus card is registered to Springdale’s account. Funds received support the PYC mission programs.
